Practice Overview

Mallory joined Barteaux in 2021, bringing with her varied experience in administrative and labour and employment law. Prior to joining Barteaux, she was an associate at a fast-paced, management-side, boutique labour and employment law firm in Toronto, Ontario.

In addition to over two years of legal experience in administrative and labour and employment law, Mallory has worked with clients from a broad range of sectors and business sizes. She has advised clients on issues ranging from workers compensation to human rights. She has also revised policy documents related to workplace violence, harassment and discrimination, and employee handbooks. During her articles, Mallory also conducted a workplace investigation.

Though Mallory has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and various administrative tribunals and arbitrators during her time in Toronto, she is no stranger to Atlantic Canada. Mallory’s professional experience working for various departments within the Province of Nova Scotia prior to her call to the bar affords her legal practice a unique perspective on contract negotiation and policymaking.
